The Foundation of Birches Academy is a non-profit organization that is in charge of all volunteers, fundraising and events for Birches Academy.  Fundraising is a vital part of Birches Academy and how we reach out to the community. We are offering you or your company the opportunity to help us plant the seeds of learning while creating roots in our neighborhood. Please consider joining us to plan fun and family-friendly events for the school.

FOUNDATION MEETINGS:

The Foundation meets monthly to discuss planned events and brainstorm on strategies for the best way to raise money for our school.  The meetings are held on the 1st Monday of the month at 6:00pm unless that Monday falls on a holiday.

The Foundation of Birches Academy Mission Statement

The Foundation of Birches Academy, 501(c)(3) non profit, purpose is to raise, secure, and distribute contributions from individuals, estates, corporations, foundations And any other source for the benefit of the students of The birches Academy of Academics & art, a public charter school. The Foundations is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3)of the Internal Revenue Service code. The business affairs of The Foundation is managed by an all volunteer Board of Trustees.

NH charter schools are funded at only 46% of traditional public schools. NH funds its charter schools at one of the lowest rates in the country.

The Birches Academy is dedicated to offering the highest quality education in teaching today’s children for tomorrow by utilizing technology, flexible, out-of-the-box concepts, and challenging each student at their learning level. However, without sufficient funding, we need to do more with less.
