How to apply
The Birches Academy of Academics & Art is a public school for grades K-8, with 25 students per grade level. We hold a lottery each spring for our Kindergarten class; the lottery application process opens in October, with spots being selected in January/February. The lottery for 2026-27 is now open until January 26, 2026.
All other grades operate on a waitlist. Applications for the wait list can be submitted at any time.
All families wishing to enroll at The Birches Academy must attend an information session/tour before their students begin. Look here for dates for upcoming tours, or private sessions can be arranged for those considering an open spot by contacting information@birchesacademy.org

Like other public schools, The Birches Academy is free for students who are New Hampshire residents. Residence is defined as the place where a student eats morning and evening meals, sleeps during the week and where their clothes are kept. A Residency Affidavit form will be required prior to final confirmation of enrollment.
